Course Review: 8.4/10 I like to evaluate golf courses on a 10-point scale, and this course earned a solid 8.4. Here’s the breakdown: 1. Customer Service (2/10) You (the golf course) have 3-7 minutes to make or break the experience for any golfer. Unfortunately, this aspect fell short. The staff member at the desk spent 3-5 minutes on the phone with a customer discussing tee times and rules, while five players, including myself, waited and overheard the entire conversation. After hanging up, she was noticeably rude to the next three paying customers and to us as well. I gave her the benefit of the doubt due to the stressful conversation, but the situation could have been handled much better. Suggestions: take phone calls in a back room or return calls during less busy hours. 2. Starter (5/10) The transition from the clubhouse to the starter was underwhelming. The starter lacked enthusiasm and didn’t provide much information about the course or general guidelines. While everyone has bad days, a more inviting approach could significantly enhance the player experience. 3. The Golf Course (10/10) This is where the course shined. Playing from the tips, the layout and conditions were truly impressive. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes were immaculate—easily a 10/10. The pace of play was a bit slow for a 4-ball group, and finishing in the light/dark after a 1:30 PM tee time was less than ideal. However, the overall quality of the course made up for it. Final Thoughts: This course has great potential to earn a higher score. The playing experience is fantastic, but staff interactions are crucial as they set the tone for the entire round. Pro tip: Your course experience begins with the first and second customer contact points. Small adjustments in service could elevate this course to the next level. For context, I’ve reviewed 500+ courses in the last four years, and I can confidently say you have the foundation for greatness—just polish the details!

Good course in very good condition. Pace of play could be better, but I did play on a weekday of Thanksgiving week. Also, staffs were not rude but looked like they wanted to leave work badly; could be better. Staffs are usually a lot more enthusiastic abt their work at an upscale course like this. Nevertheless, beautiful course, and I really enjoyed my time here.

This is the most fun I have had in a long time. The course, greens, tee boxes, and bunkers were in great shape. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and professional. The round took about 4 hours and 15 minutes, which I think is acceptable for a vacation location and a full tee sheet. I saw a Marshall and beverage cart several times.

Beautiful course. Greens were really firm because they were new making it hard to plan on the green. But course was in great condition. Would definitely go back.

My group and I were turned away from the golf course after being told that our attire was not appropriate — have golfed here before and have never had an issue with attire. My boyfriend serves in the US Navy and just returned from deployment overseas. This was meant to be a treat for him, but instead the staff turned him away for his outfit. Was also told that this is a “semi-private” course yet they charged us for public. Customer service was also very rude and ridiculed people of my group for what they were wearing and stood over our shoulders as we scrolled through their “sales” rack that still cost well over $100 even with discount. Don’t waste your money on a course like this. They won’t treat you kindly. We got out of there so fast because they probably would’ve kicked us out for the car we were driving anyways. Terrible customer service, don't waste your time.
